No. 4 - L'Âme Velours Deodorant

This is the only deodorant I've wanted to use in years. It doesn't include harmful ingredients and smells incredible.

the packaging is so lux and the fragrance is amazing. it does help with odor control but the stick is very hard to apply. it tugs at my skin pretty badly. maybe this will work better during the warmer months when the stick can soften a bit

This product smells absolutely amazing—rich and elegant! It’s aluminum-free and free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. Made with Magnesium Hydroxide, Zinc Ricinoleate for odor control, as well as pre and probiotics, coconut oil, and arrowroot for smooth underarms. While I haven’t used it for its intended purpose as a deodorant yet, I’ve been using it on my neck, wrists, and chest for its scent. The fragrance lasts all day, and I’ve received so many compliments on it! I’m not sure how I feel about using it under my arms compared to a regular deodorant, especially since it claims to have 48-hour protection. However, I love that I can carry it in my purse for a quick refresh, and it’s a great alternative to perfume, especially when traveling. I’m curious to see how it performs in the summer heat, particularly with sweat. This brand has other scents I’m excited to try!

First of all, this deodorant smells amazing; like a high end boutique hotel. It is so satisfying to my olfactory glands. Also, the container looks high end too; like you could leave it out on the counter in a fancy bathroom and it will fit right in. I wanted to love it, I really did. However, after about 10 days of use, I have noticed that it is very difficult to apply unless my underarms are already a little wet from after a shower. Like, painful difficult. This is a very dry product and I have noticed little chunks of 'salt type' things that give it even more abrasion. Do you remember the crystal deodorant sticks? It could possible be little chunks of that crystal. Regardless, I am continuing to use it because I love it, but I must moisten under my arms first or it is torture. How do I rate this? I love it! This deodorant smells like an expensive perfume. I mean, it really does. It works well with my ph and hormones and I love that I have no skin irritation using this.
